About Matt Kiser
Matt Kiser is a journalist and media entrepreneur who created What The Fuck Just Happened Today? in January 2017 as a personal project to chronicle the daily shock and awe of national politics.
He graduated from California State University, Chico with degrees in Journalism and American Studies, and earned a professional certificate in Entrepreneurial Journalism from the City University of New York. Previously, he reported on music industry news for the College Music Journal and managed news products at Business Insider, Forbes, and SPIN Magazine.
What started as a 100-day experiment has become his full-time job, supported entirely by readers through an optional membership model with no ads, no content gates, and no data selling.
